Our love for photography – and for our island – led us to the doors of the most historic hotel in Rhodes. There we met the actors of the theater group Praxis, and together we embarked on a journey back in time…

The Grande Albergo delle Rose first opened its doors in 1927, welcoming the local high society as well as celebrities and tycoons from around the world. We staged stories within its magnificent halls – stories filled with intrigue, romance, passion, and the innocence of another era – a project that both groups worked on for almost a year.
We carried out historical research, secured permits to photograph in specific areas, studied the clothing and manners of characters from that period. We wrote scripts for our actors, who in turn took care of sewing their own costumes.

The photo shoots, which were particularly demanding and required flawless coordination among everyone involved, were carried out with great enthusiasm and a touch of “professionalism” by all.
