PHOTOGRAPHY II

Basic knowledge required

Photography School of Niki Spartali in Rhodes, Greece

Day:

Every Wednesday

Time:

17:30 - 19:30

New term starts:

October 7, 2026

This course is the continuation of Photography I, giving participants the opportunity to “dive” into the deeper and more magical aspects of photographic art, beyond technical terms and rules.

The thematic "journeys" and practical exercises will help participants turn theory into practice. Photography II is designed for those who already have basic knowledge and want to explore further the different genres of photography.

In this course, we will focus on landscape, portrait, still life, staged photography, and street photography. We will learn the unique characteristics and requirements of each genre, as well as the most renowned photographers and creators in each field. By working on each subject individually through excursions and exercises, we will aim to improve the aesthetic quality of our photographs.

The goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of each photographic genre, enabling participants to choose their own personal photographic path.

Who is it for

This course is aimed at individuals who are already familiar with the basic functions of their camera. Participants should feel comfortable using manual mode or aperture priority mode.
