Below you will find details about the nine different departments, so you can choose the one that best suits your interests and needs.
The School includes a classroom for theory lessons and presentations, a darkroom, and a fully equipped photography studio for hands-on practice.
You can choose Photography I, Image Editing or Mixed Media, depending on your interests.
For the Image Editing course, you only need basic computer skills.
You can choose Photography II or Staged Photography. Darkroom is also suitable if you already have some basic photography experience.
Portrait and Light & Flash are intended for those who already have a good understanding of how to use their camera.
The Luminous Team is also advanced and requires previous course attendance at the Photography School.
Yes. You can attend Mixed Media, Image Editing or Darkroom class. For the Image Editing course, you will need a laptop, while owning a camera is not necessary for Darkroom class.
No. The Image Editing course begins with the basic functions of Photoshop and requires no previous knowledge of the software or photography.
Equipment requirements vary depending on the course. The necessary equipment is listed in detail on each course page. For courses that require a camera, it simply needs to have manual settings and not be fully automatic, so that you can learn how to control its basic functions. If you are unsure whether your camera is suitable, you can contact me before registering.
Yes, provided that you already have a basic knowledge of photography and can operate your camera using its basic settings.

Yes. The Luminous Team is not intended for beginners. To join, you need previous photography knowledge and must have attended a course at the Photography School aimed at students with basic knowledge or at an advanced level.
Complete the register–your-interest form on the page of the course you would like to attend. You will then receive information by email about the cost and the process for reserving your place. Submitting the form does not constitute final registration.
You can continue attending the course as normal. However, classes take place on specific dates and individual make-up sessions are not offered in the event of an absence.
No. The exhibition takes place after the courses have been completed, and participation is optional. Anyone who does not wish or is unable to take part is under no obligation to do so.
All courses are taught in Greek. However, courses can also be arranged in English for groups of five or more participants.
You will find the Photography School on Venetokleon & Canada Street.
It is located in the same building as Pappou Supermarket, on the first floor.
The entrance to the building is at the back, from Venetokleon Street.
