Participation in the group exhibition of Niki Spartali’s Photography School.
The exhibition, titled "ImPerfection", took place at the Scouts of Dodecanese building, in the center of the city of Rhodes.
Down with the dictatorship of fake perfection!!
For years, we have been flooded daily with images and all kinds of opinions that glorify perfection (body, hair, clothing, car, profession, relationships…).
The aesthetics of the internet reject everything imperfect, different, unusual, or ugly.
But isn’t there beauty in a wrinkle, a crack in the soul, an old wall, a dry leaf, a charmingly asymmetrical glance? Is there ugliness, after all?…
All of the above and so much more make up the essence of humans and nature; they are the unique truth and beauty of each of us.
The images in the exhibition highlight these Im-perfections as captured through the lens of each photographer in the group.
